Hadith 3205 — Livre 28: Chapters on Hunting
كتاب الصيد
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah bin Mughaffal : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Si les chiens n’étaient pas une communauté parmi les créatures, j’aurais ordonné qu’on les tue. Mais tuez ceux qui sont entièrement noirs. Il n’y a pas de gens qui gardent un chien, sauf pour garder les troupeaux, la chasse ou l’agriculture, sans que deux Qirat ne soient retirées de leur récompense chaque jour. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لَوْلاَ أَنَّ الْكِلاَبَ أُمَّةٌ مِنَ الأُمَمِ لأَمَرْتُ بِقَتْلِهَا فَاقْتُلُوا مِنْهَا الأَسْوَدَ الْبَهِيمَ وَمَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ اتَّخَذُوا كَلْبًا إِلاَّ كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ أَوْ كَلْبَ صَيْدٍ أَوْ كَلْبَ حَرْثٍ إِلاَّ نَقَصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Were it not that dogs form one of the communities (or nations – of creatures), I would have commanded that they be killed. But kill those that are all black. There are no people who keep a dog, except for dogs used for herding livestock, hunting or farming, but two Qirat will be deducted from their reward each day.”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر کتے اللہ تعالیٰ کی مخلوقات میں سے ایک مخلوق نہ ہوتے، تو میں یقیناً ان کے قتل کا حکم دیتا، پھر بھی خالص کالے کتے کو قتل کر ڈالو، اور جن لوگوں نے جانوروں کی حفاظت یا شکاری یا کھیتی کے علاوہ دوسرے کتے پال رکھے ہیں، ان کے اجر سے ہر روز دو قیراط کم ہو جاتے ہیں ۱؎۔
