Rapporté par Umm Kurz : J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : “Pour un garçon, deux moutons du même âge, et pour une fille, un mouton.”

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " عَنِ الْغُلاَمِ، شَاتَانِ مُكَافِئَتَانِ وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ، شَاةٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Umm Kurz said:“I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: ‘On behalf of a boy, two sheep of equal age and on behalf of a girl one sheep.’”

ام کرز رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: لڑکے کی طرف سے دو ہم عمر بکریاں ہیں، اور لڑکی کی طرف سے ایک بکری ہے ۱؎۔
