كتاب الضحايا
Rapporté par ‘Asim bin Kulaib, de la part de son père : « Nous étions avec un homme parmi les Compagnons du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), appelé Mujashi’, de Banu Sulaim, et les moutons sont devenus rares. Il a ordonné à quelqu’un d’annoncer que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) disait : “Un Jadha’a suffit là où un mouton de deux ans suffit.” »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُقَالُ لَهُ مُجَاشِعٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَعَزَّتِ الْغَنَمُ فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَقُولُ " إِنَّ الْجَذَعَ يُوفِي مِمَّا تُوفِي مِنْهُ الثَّنِيَّةُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from ‘Asim bin Kulaib that his father said:“We were with a man from among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who was called Mujashi’, from Banu Sulaim, and sheep became scarce. He ordered a caller to call out that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: ‘A Jadha’a suffices for whatever a two-year-old sheep suffices.’”

کلیب کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اصحاب میں سے بنی سلیم کے مجاشع نامی ایک شخص کے ساتھ تھے، بکریوں کی قلت ہو گئی، تو انہوں نے ایک منادی کو حکم دیا، جس نے پکار کر کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے: ( قربانی کے لیے ) بھیڑ کا ایک سالہ بچہ دانتی بکری کی جگہ پر کافی ہے ۔
