Rapporté par Muhammad bin Sirin : « J’ai demandé à Ibn ‘Umar au sujet des sacrifices et s’ils étaient obligatoires. Il a répondu : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et les musulmans après lui ont offert des sacrifices, et c’est la Sunna.” » Un autre rapport donne exactement la même chose

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ الضَّحَايَا، أَوَاجِبَةٌ هِيَ قَالَ ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَجَرَتْ بِهِ السُّنَّةُ . حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَبَلَةُ بْنُ سُحَيْمٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ . فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Muhammad bin Sirin said:“I asked Ibn ‘Umar about sacrifices and whether they are obligatory. He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the Muslims after him offered sacrifices, and this is the Sunnah.’” Another chain reports exactly the same

محمد بن سیرین کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا: کیا قربانی واجب ہے؟ تو جواب دیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قربانی کی ہے، اور آپ کے بعد مسلمانوں نے کی ہے، اور یہ سنت جاری ہے۔
