Hadith 2905 — Livre 25: Chapters on Hajj Rituals
كتاب مناسك الحج
Rapporté par Abu Ghawth bin Husain – un homme de Furu’ : Il a consulté le Prophète (ﷺ) au sujet d’un Hajj que son père devait accomplir, mais son père était décédé sans l’avoir fait. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “Accomplis le Hajj pour ton père.” Et le Prophète (ﷺ) a ajouté : “Il en est de même pour le jeûne en accomplissement d’un vœu – il doit être rattrapé.”

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَوْثِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، - رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْفُرْعِ - أَنَّهُ اسْتَفْتَى النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ حِجَّةٍ كَانَتْ عَلَى أَبِيهِ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَحُجَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ " . وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " وَكَذَلِكَ الصِّيَامُ فِي النَّذْرِ يُقْضَى عَنْهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Ghawth bin Husain – a man from Furu’ – that he consulted the Prophet (ﷺ) about a Hajj that his father owed, but he had died and had not gone for Hajj. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:“Perform Hajj on behalf of your father.” And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The same applies to fasting in fulfillment of a vow – it should be made up for.”

مقام فرع کے ایک شخص ابوالغوث بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایسے حج کی ادائیگی کے بارے میں سوال کیا جو ان کے والد پر فرض تھا، اور وہ بغیر حج کیے مر گئے تھے تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اپنے والد کی جانب سے حج کرو ، نیز آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ بھی فرمایا: اسی طرح کا معاملہ نذر مانے ہوئے صیام کا بھی ہے کہ ان کی قضاء اس کی طرف سے کی جائے گی ۔
