Hadith 2874 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Muhammad bin Munkadir, qui a entendu Umaimah bint Ruqaiqah dire : « Je suis venue voir le Prophète (ﷺ) avec d’autres femmes pour lui prêter serment. Il nous a dit : “(J’accepte votre serment) dans la mesure de ce que vous pouvez faire. Mais je ne serre pas la main des femmes.” »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَيْمَةَ بِنْتَ رُقَيْقَةَ، تَقُولُ جِئْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي نِسْوَةٍ نُبَايِعُهُ فَقَالَ لَنَا " فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُنَّ وَأَطَقْتُنَّ إِنِّي لاَ أُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Muhammad bin Munkadir said that he heard Umaimah bint Ruqaiqah say:“I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) with some other women, to offer our pledge to him. He said to us: ‘(I accept your pledge) with regard to what you are able to do. But I do not shake hands with women.’”
Traduction en ourdou
امیمہ بنت رقیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں کچھ عورتوں کے ہمراہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بیعت کرنے آئی، تو آپ نے ہم سے فرمایا: ( امام کی بات سنو اور مانو ) جہاں تک تمہارے اندر طاقت و قوت ہو، میں عورتوں سے ہاتھ نہیں ملاتا ۱؎۔
