Hadith 2871 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Les affaires des Enfants d’Israël étaient gérées par leurs prophètes. Chaque fois qu’un prophète mourait, il était remplacé par un autre, mais il n’y aura pas de prophète parmi vous après moi. » Ils ont demandé : « Que va-t-il se passer, ô Messager d’Allah ? » Il a dit : « Il y aura des califes, et ils seront nombreux. » Ils ont demandé : « Que devons-nous faire ? » Il a dit : « Remplissez votre engagement envers le premier, puis envers celui qui vient après lui, et accomplissez vos devoirs, car Allah les interrogera sur ce qui leur incombe. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ فُرَاتٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ تَسُوسُهُمْ أَنْبِيَاؤُهُمْ كُلَّمَا ذَهَبَ نَبِيٌّ خَلَفَهُ نَبِيٌّ وَأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ كَائِنٌ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ فِيكُمْ " . قَالُوا فَمَا يَكُونُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " تَكُونُ خُلَفَاءُ فَيَكْثُرُوا " . قَالُوا فَكَيْفَ نَصْنَعُ قَالَ " أَوْفُوا بِبَيْعَةِ الأَوَّلِ فَالأَوَّلِ أَدُّوا الَّذِي عَلَيْكُمْ فَسَيَسْأَلُهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنِ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“The affairs of the Children of Israel were administered by their Prophets. Every time a Prophet left, he was followed by another, but there will be no Prophet among you after I am gone.” They said: “What will happen, O Messenger of Allah?” He said: “There will be caliphs and there will be many of them.” They said: “What should we do?” He said: “Fulfill your pledge to the first one, then the one who comes after him, and do the duties required of you, for Allah will question them about the duties upon them.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بنی اسرائیل کی حکومت ان کے انبیاء چلایا کرتے تھے، ایک نبی چلا جاتا تو دوسرا اس کی جگہ لے لیتا، لیکن میرے بعد تم میں کوئی نبی ہونے والا نہیں ، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! پھر کیا ہو گا؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: خلیفہ ہوں گے اور بہت ہوں گے ، لوگوں نے کہا: پھر کیسے کریں گے؟ فرمایا: پہلے کی بیعت پوری کرو، پھر اس کے بعد والے کی، اور اپنا حق ادا کرو، اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے ان کے حق کے بارے میں سوال کرے گا ۔
