Hadith 2831 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par ‘Urwah bin Ruwaim Al-Lakhmi : Abu Tha’labah Al-Khushani – qu’il dit avoir rencontré et avec qui il a parlé – a dit : « Je suis allé voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et je lui ai demandé : “Ô Messager d’Allah ! Pouvons-nous cuisiner dans les ustensiles des idolâtres ?” Il a répondu : “Ne cuisinez pas dedans.” J’ai dit : “Et si nous en avons besoin et que nous ne trouvons rien d’autre ?” Il a dit : “Lavez-les bien, puis cuisinez et mangez.” »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو فَرْوَةَ، يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ، رُوَيْمٍ اللَّخْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ، - قَالَ وَلَقِيَهُ وَكَلَّمَهُ - قَالَ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قُدُورُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ نَطْبُخُ فِيهَا قَالَ " لاَ تَطْبُخُوا فِيهَا " . قُلْتُ فَإِنِ احْتَجْنَا إِلَيْهَا فَلَمْ نَجِدْ مِنْهَا بُدًّا قَالَ " فَارْحَضُوهَا رَحْضًا حَسَنًا ثُمَّ اطْبُخُوا وَكُلُوا " .
Traduction anglaise
‘Urwah bin Ruwaim Al-Lakhmi narrated that Abu Tha’labah Al-Khushani – whom he said he met and spoke with – said:“I came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked him: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Can we cook in the vessels of the idolaters?’ He said: ‘Do not cook in them.’ I said: ‘What if we need them and cannot find anything else?’ He said: ‘Wash them well, then cook and eat.’”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوثعلبہ خشنی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس حاضر ہوا تو میں نے سوال کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا ہم مشرکین کی ہانڈیوں میں کھانا پکا سکتے ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ان میں نہ پکاؤ میں نے کہا: اگر اس کی ضرورت پیش آ جائے اور ہمارے لیے کوئی چارہ کار ہی نہ ہو؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تب تم انہیں اچھی طرح دھو لو، پھر پکاؤ اور کھاؤ ۱؎۔
