كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Harith bin Hassan : Je suis venu à Médine et j’ai vu le Prophète (ﷺ) debout sur le minbar, Bilal debout devant lui, avec son épée à ses côtés, et j’ai vu un drapeau noir. J’ai demandé : « Qui est-ce ? » On m’a répondu : « C’est ‘Amr bin ‘As, qui revient d’une expédition. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَائِمًا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَبِلاَلٌ قَائِمٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مُتَقَلِّدٌ سَيْفًا وَإِذَا رَايَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا قَالُوا هَذَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَدِمَ مِنْ غَزَاةٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Harith bin Hassan said:“I came to Al-Madinah and saw the Prophet (ﷺ) standing on the pulpit, and Bilal standing in front of him, with his sword by his side, and (I saw) a black flag. I said: ‘Who is this?’ He said: ‘This is ‘Amr bin ‘As, who has just come back from a campaign.’”

حارث بن حسان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں مدینہ آیا تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو منبر پر کھڑے دیکھا، اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ آپ کے سامنے گلے میں تلوار ٹکائے ہوئے تھے، پھر اچانک ایک کالا بڑا جھنڈا دکھائی دیا، میں نے کہا: یہ کون ہیں؟ لوگوں نے بتایا کہ یہ عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں جو ایک غزوہ سے واپس آئے ہیں۔
