Hadith 2811 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Allah fera entrer au Paradis trois personnes grâce à une seule flèche : celui qui la fabrique en cherchant la récompense et en la faisant bien, celui qui la tire, et celui qui la lui tend. » Et le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Tirez à l’arc et montez à cheval, et si vous tirez à l’arc, c’est plus cher à mes yeux que de monter à cheval. Toutes les distractions d’un homme musulman sont inutiles sauf tirer à l’arc, entraîner son cheval et jouer avec sa femme, car ce sont des choses qui apportent une récompense. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلاَّمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَزْرَقِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُدْخِلُ بِالسَّهْمِ الْوَاحِدِ الثَّلاَثَةَ الْجَنَّةَ صَانِعَهُ يَحْتَسِبُ فِي صَنْعَتِهِ الْخَيْرَ وَالرَّامِيَ بِهِ وَالْمُمِدَّ بِهِ " . وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " ارْمُوا وَارْكَبُوا وَأَنْ تَرْمُوا أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ أَنْ تَرْكَبُوا وَكُلُّ مَا يَلْهُو بِهِ الْمَرْءُ الْمُسْلِمُ بَاطِلٌ إِلاَّ رَمْيَهُ بِقَوْسِهِ وَتَأْدِيبَهُ فَرَسَهُ وَمُلاَعَبَتَهُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنَ الْحَقِّ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:“Allah will admit three people to Paradise by virtue of one arrow: The one who makes it, seeking reward by making it well; the one who shoots it; and the one who hands it to him.” And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Shoot and ride, and if you shoot that is dearer to me than if you ride. All things that a Muslim man does for entertainment are in vain except for shooting arrows, training his horse and playing with his wife, for these are things that bring reward.”

عقبہ بن عامر جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایک تیر کے سبب اللہ تعالیٰ تین آدمیوں کو جنت میں داخل کرے گا: ثواب کی نیت سے اس کے بنانے والے کو، چلانے والے کو، اور ترکش سے نکال نکال کر دینے والے کو ، نیز آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تیر اندازی کرو، اور سواری کا فن سیکھو، میرے نزدیک تیر اندازی سیکھنا سواری کا فن سیکھنے سے بہتر ہے، مسلمان آدمی کا ہر کھیل باطل ہے سوائے تیر اندازی، گھوڑے کے سدھانے، اور اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ کھیلنے کے، کیونکہ یہ تینوں کھیل سچے ہیں ۱؎۔
