Hadith 2804 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Que dites-vous entre vous à propos du martyr ? » Ils ont répondu : « Celui qui est tué dans la cause d’Allah. » Il a dit : « Dans ce cas, il y aurait peu de martyrs dans ma communauté. Celui qui est tué dans la cause d’Allah est un martyr ; celui qui meurt dans la cause d’Allah est un martyr ; celui qui meurt d’une maladie de l’estomac est un martyr ; et celui qui meurt de la peste est un martyr. » Une autre version ajoute : « et celui qui se noie est un martyr. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي الشَّهِيدِ فِيكُمْ " . قَالُوا الْقَتْلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " إِنَّ شُهَدَاءَ أُمَّتِي إِذًا لَقَلِيلٌ مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَبْطُونُ شَهِيدٌ وَالْمَطْعُونُ شَهِيدٌ " . قَالَ سُهَيْلٌ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، وَزَادَ، فِيهِ " وَالْغَرِقُ شَهِيدٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:“What do you say among yourselves about the martyr?” They said: “The one who is killed in the cause of Allah.” He said: “In that case the martyrs among my nation would be few. Whoever is killed in the cause of Allah is a martyr; whoever dies in the cause of Allah is a martyr; whoever dies of a stomach disease is a martyr; and whoever dies of the plague is a martyr.” Another chain narrates with the addition of "and the drowned is a martyr
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: تم شہید کسے سمجھتے ہو ؟ لوگوں نے جواب دیا: اللہ کے راستے میں مارا جانا ( شہادت ہے ) فرمایا: تب تو میری امت میں بہت کم شہید ہوں گے ! ( پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں ایسی بات نہیں بلکہ ) جو اللہ کے راستے میں مارا جائے وہ شہید ہے، جو اللہ کے راستے میں مر جائے وہ بھی شہید ہے، پیٹ کی بیماری میں مرنے والا بھی شہید ہے، طاعون کے مرض میں مرنے والا شہید ہے ۔ سہیل کہتے ہیں: مجھے عبیداللہ بن مقسم نے خبر دی وہ ابوصالح سے روایت کرتے ہیں، اس میں یہ لفظ زیادہ ہے: اور ڈوب کر مرنے والا بھی شہید ہے ۔
