كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par ‘Amr bin ‘Abasah : Je suis venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et j’ai dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, quel est le meilleur Jihad ? » Il a dit : « (Celui d’un homme) dont le sang est versé et dont le cheval est blessé. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الْجِهَادِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ " مَنْ أُهْرِيقَ دَمُهُ وَعُقِرَ جَوَادُهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Amr bin ‘Abasah said:“I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which Jihad is best?’ He said: ‘(That of a man) whose blood is shed and his horse is wounded.’”

عمرو بن عبسہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، اور میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! کون سا جہاد افضل ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس میں مجاہد کا خون بہا دیا جائے، اور جس کے گھوڑے کو بھی زخمی کر دیا جائے ۱؎۔
