Hadith 2777 — Livre 24: The Chapters on Jihad
كتاب الجهاد
Rapporté par Abu Darda’ : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Une expédition militaire en mer équivaut à dix expéditions sur terre. Celui qui souffre du mal de mer est comme celui qui est couvert de son propre sang dans la cause d’Allah. »

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " غَزْوَةٌ فِي الْبَحْرِ مِثْلُ عَشْرِ غَزَوَاتٍ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالَّذِي يَسْدَرُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْمُتَشَحِّطِ فِي دَمِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سُبْحَانَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Darda’ that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“A military expedition by sea is like ten expeditions by land. The one who suffers from seasickness is like one who gets drenched in his own blood in the cause of Allah.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایک بحری ( سمندری ) جہاد دس بری جہادوں کے برابر ہے، اور سمندر میں جس کا سر چکرائے وہ اس شخص کی طرح ہے جو اللہ کے راستے میں اپنے خون میں لوٹ رہا ہو ۔
