Hadith 2678 — Livre 21: The Chapters on Blood Money

Rapporté par 'Amr bin Shu'aib, de son père, de son grand-père : Huwayyisah et Muhayyisah, les fils de Mas'ud, et 'Abdullah et 'Abdur-Rahman, les fils de Sahl, sont partis chercher de la nourriture à Khaibar. 'Abdullah a été attaqué et tué, et cela a été rapporté au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Il a dit : "Voulez-vous jurer et établir votre droit au prix du sang ?" Ils ont dit : "Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), comment pourrions-nous jurer alors que nous n’avons rien vu ?" Il a dit : "Voulez-vous que les Juifs jurent qu’ils sont innocents ?" حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ حُوَيِّصَةَ، وَمُحَيِّصَةَ، ابْنَىْ مَسْعُودٍ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنَىْ سَهْلٍ خَرَجُوا يَمْتَارُونَ بِخَيْبَرَ فَعُدِيَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقُتِلَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " تُقْسِمُونَ وَتَسْتَحِقُّونَ " . فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ نُقْسِمُ وَلَمْ نَشْهَدْ قَالَ " فَتُبْرِئُكُمْ يَهُودُ " . قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِذًا تَقْتُلُنَا . قَالَ فَوَدَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ عِنْدِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that :Huwayyisah and Muhayyisah , the sons of Mas'ud, and 'Abdullah and 'Abdur-Rahman the sons of Sahl, went out to search for food in Khaibar. 'Abdullah was attacked and killed, and mention of that was made to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: “Will you swear an oath and establish your right to blood money?” They said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), how can we swear an oath when we did not witness anything?” He said: “Do you want the Jews to swear that they are innocent?” They said: “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), then they will kill us too.” So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) paid the blood money himself
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ مسعود کے دونوں بیٹے حویصہ و محیصہ رضی اللہ عنہما اور سہل کے دونوں بیٹے عبداللہ و عبدالرحمٰن رضی اللہ عنہما خیبر کی جانب تلاش رزق میں نکلے، عبداللہ پر ظلم ہوا، اور انہیں قتل کر دیا گیا، اس کا ذکر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے کیا گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: قسم کھاؤ اور ( دیت کے ) مستحق ہو جاؤ وہ کہنے لگے: اللہ کے رسول! جب ہم وہاں حاضر ہی نہیں تھے تو قسم کیوں کر کھائیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو یہود ( قسم کھا کر ) تم سے بری ہو جائیں گے وہ کہنے لگے: اللہ کے رسول! تب تو وہ ہمیں مار ہی ڈالیں گے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے پاس سے ان کی دیت ادا کر دی۔
