Rapporté par Abu Juhaifah : J’ai dit à 'Ali bin Abu Talib : "As-tu une connaissance que les gens n’ont pas ?" Il a dit : "Non, par Allah, nous ne savons que ce que les gens savent, sauf qu’Allah peut accorder à un homme la compréhension du Coran ou ce qui est écrit sur ce feuillet, où sont mentionnées les règles sur le prix du sang venant du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), et il y est écrit qu’un musulman ne doit pas être tué en représailles pour le meurtre d’un non-croyant

حَدَّثَنَا عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَىْءٌ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ لَيْسَ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ قَالَ لاَ وَاللَّهِ مَا عِنْدَنَا إِلاَّ مَا عِنْدَ النَّاسِ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَرْزُقَ اللَّهُ رَجُلاً فَهْمًا فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَوْ مَا فِي هَذِهِ الصَّحِيفَةِ فِيهَا الدِّيَاتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنْ لاَ يُقْتَلَ مُسْلِمٌ بِكَافِرٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Juhaifah said:“I said to 'Ali bin Abu Talib: 'Do you have any knowledge that the people do not have?' He said: 'No, by Allah, we only know what the people know, except that Allah may bless a man with understanding of Qur'an or what is in this sheet, in which are mentioned the rulings on blood money from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and it says that a Muslim should not be killed in retaliation for the murder of disbeliever.'”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوجحیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے عرض کیا تمہارے پاس کوئی ایسا علم ہے جو دیگر لوگوں کے پاس نہ ہو؟ وہ بولے: نہیں، اللہ کی قسم! ہمارے پاس وہی ہے جو لوگوں کے پاس ہے، ہاں مگر قرآن کی سمجھ جس کی اللہ تعالیٰ کسی کو توفیق بخشتا ہے یا وہ جو اس صحیفے میں ہے اس ( صحیفے ) میں ان دیتوں کا بیان ہے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مروی ہیں، اور آپ کا یہ فرمان بھی ہے کہ مسلمان کو کافر کے بدلے قتل نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ ۱؎
