Hadith 2431 — Livre 15: The Chapters on Charity
كتاب الصدقات
Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « La nuit de mon voyage nocturne (Isra), j’ai vu écrit à la porte du Paradis : “L’aumône rapporte dix fois plus et le prêt dix-huit fois plus.” J’ai demandé : “Ô Jibril ! Pourquoi le prêt est-il meilleur que l’aumône ?” Il a répondu : “Parce que le mendiant demande alors qu’il a de quoi vivre, mais celui qui demande un prêt ne le fait que parce qu’il est dans le besoin.” »

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ مَكْتُوبًا الصَّدَقَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا وَالْقَرْضُ بِثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ . فَقُلْتُ يَا جِبْرِيلُ مَا بَالُ الْقَرْضِ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ . قَالَ لأَنَّ السَّائِلَ يَسْأَلُ وَعِنْدَهُ وَالْمُسْتَقْرِضُ لاَ يَسْتَقْرِضُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَاجَةٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“On the night on which I was taken on the Night Journey (Isra), I saw written at the gate of Paradise: 'Charity brings a tenfold reward and a loan brings an eighteen fold reward.' I said: 'O Jibril! Why is a loan better than charity?' He said: 'Because the beggar asks when he has something, but the one who asks for loan does so only because he is in need.' ”
Traduction en ourdou
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: معراج کی رات میں نے جنت کے دروازے پر لکھا دیکھا کہ صدقہ کا ثواب دس گنا ہے، اور قرض کا اٹھارہ گنا، میں نے کہا: جبرائیل! کیا بات ہے؟ قرض صدقہ سے افضل کیسے ہے؟ تو کہا: اس لیے کہ سائل سوال کرتا ہے حالانکہ اس کے پاس کھانے کو ہوتا ہے، اور قرض لینے والا قرض اس وقت تک نہیں مانگتا جب تک اس کو واقعی ضرورت نہ ہو ۔
