كتاب الصدقات
Rapporté par Hirmas bin Habib : Son père a rapporté que son grand-père a dit : « Je suis venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) avec un homme qui me devait de l’argent, et il m’a dit : “Garde-le.” Puis il est passé près de moi à la fin de la journée et a dit : “Qu’a fait ton prisonnier, ô frère des Banu Tamim ?” »

حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهِرْمَاسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِغَرِيمٍ لِي فَقَالَ لِي " الْزَمْهُ " . ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِي آخِرَ النَّهَارِ فَقَالَ " مَا فَعَلَ أَسِيرُكَ يَا أَخَا بَنِي تَمِيمٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Hirmas bin Habib narrated from his father that his grandfather said:“I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) with a man who owed me money, and he said to me: 'Keep him.' Then he passed by me at the end of the day and said: 'What did your prisoner do, O brother of Banu Tamim?' ”
Traduction en ourdou
ہرماس بن حبیب اپنے والد کے واسطے سے اپنے دادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اپنے قرض دار کو لے کر آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس کے پیچھے لگے رہو ، پھر آپ شام کو میرے پاس سے گزرے تو فرمایا: اے بنی تمیم کے بھائی! تمہارا قیدی کہاں ہے ۔
