Hadith 2424 — Livre 15: The Chapters on Charity

Rapporté par Isma'il bin Abi Rabi'ah Al-Makhzumi, de son père, de son grand-père : Le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a emprunté trente ou quarante mille lors de la bataille de Hunain. À son retour, il a remboursé le prêt, puis le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a dit : “Qu’Allah (SWT) bénisse ta famille et ta richesse. La récompense du prêt, c’est le remboursement et des paroles venant du paradis.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَسْلَفَ مِنْهُ حِينَ غَزَا حُنَيْنًا ثَلاَثِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفًا فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ قَضَاهَا إِيَّاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ السَّلَفِ الْوَفَاءُ وَالْحَمْدُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Isma'il bin Abi Rabi'ah Al-Makhzumi narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that :the Prophet (ﷺ) borrowed thirty or forty thousand from him, when he fought at Hunain. When he came back he paid the loan, then the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: 'May Allah (SWT) bless your family and your wealth for you. The reward for lending is repayment and words of paradise.”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن ابی ربیعہ مخزومی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غزوہ حنین کے موقع پر ان سے تیس یا چالیس ہزار قرض لیا، پھر جب حنین سے واپس آئے تو قرض ادا کیا، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ تیرے اہل و عیال اور مال و دولت میں برکت دے، قرض کا بدلہ اس کو پورا کا پورا چکانا، اور قرض دینے والے کا شکریہ ادا کرنا ہے ۔
