كتاب الأحكام
Rapporté par Jabir bin 'Abdullah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a aidé Mu'adh bin Jabal à se libérer de ses créanciers, puis il l’a nommé gouverneur du Yémen. Mu'adh a dit : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a réglé mes dettes avec mes créanciers en utilisant ce que je possédais, puis il m’a nommé gouverneur.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَلَعَ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ مِنْ غُرَمَائِهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَعْمَلَهُ عَلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْتَخْلَصَنِي بِمَالِي ثُمَّ اسْتَعْمَلَنِي .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that :the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) rid Mu'adh bin Jabal of his creditors, then he appointed him governor of Yemen. Mu'adh said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) settled my debts with my creditors using what wealth I had, then he appointed me as governor.”

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ کو ان کے قرض خواہوں سے چھٹکارا دلوایا، اور پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں یمن کا عامل بنا دیا، معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: دیکھو! رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرے مال کے ذریعہ مجھے میرے قرض خواہوں سے چھٹکارا دلوایا، پھر مجھے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عامل بھی بنا دیا۔
