Rapporté par Ikrimah bin Salamh : Il y avait deux frères parmi les fils de Mughirah. L’un d’eux avait juré de libérer un esclave si l’autre fixait une pièce de bois à son mur. Mujammi' bin Yazid et plusieurs hommes des Ansar vinrent et dirent : “Nous attestons que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : ‘Aucun de vous ne doit refuser à son voisin de fixer une pièce de bois à son mur.’” Il dit : “Ô mon frère, le jugement a été rendu en ta faveur contre moi, mais j’ai fait un serment. Vas-y, fixe ton bois à mon mur.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ، بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ هِشَامَ بْنَ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَخَوَيْنِ مِنْ بَلْمُغِيرَةَ أَعْتَقَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَنْ لاَ يَغْرِزَ خَشَبًا فِي جِدَارِهِ فَأَقْبَلَ مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَرِجَالٌ كَثِيرٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَقَالُوا نَشْهَدُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَمْنَعْ أَحَدُكُمْ جَارَهُ أَنْ يَغْرِزَ خَشَبَةً فِي جِدَارِهِ " . فَقَالَ يَا أَخِي إِنَّكَ مَقْضِيٌّ لَكَ عَلَىَّ وَقَدْ حَلَفْتُ فَاجْعَلْ أُسْطُوَانًا دُونَ حَائِطِي أَوْ جِدَارِي فَاجْعَلْ عَلَيْهِ خَشَبَكَ .
Traduction anglaise
Ikrimah bin Salamh narrated that :there were two brothers from among the sons of Mughirah. One of them swore an oath to set a slave free if the other one fixed a piece of wood to his wall. Mujammi' bin Yazid and many men from among the Ansar came and said: “We bear witness that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'None of you should refuse to let his neighbor fix a piece of wood to his wall.' ” He said: 'O my brother, judgment has been passed in your favor against me, but I have sworn an oath.' So go ahead and fix your wood to my wall.”
Traduction en ourdou
عکرمہ بن سلمہ کہتے ہیں بلمغیرہ ( بنی مغیرہ ) کے دو بھائیوں میں سے ایک نے یہ شرط لگائی کہ اگر میری دیوار میں تم دھرن لگاؤ تو میرا غلام آزاد ہے، پھر مجمع بن یزید رضی اللہ عنہ اور بہت سے انصار آئے اور کہنے لگے: ہم اس بات کی گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کوئی اپنے پڑوسی کو اپنی دیوار میں لکڑی ( دھرن ) گاڑنے سے منع نہ کرے ، یہ سن کر وہ کہنے لگا: میرے بھائی! شریعت کا فیصلہ تمہارے موافق نکلا لیکن چونکہ میں قسم کھا چکا ہوں اس لیے تم میری دیوار کے ساتھ ایک ستون کھڑا کر کے اس پر لکڑی رکھ لو ۱؎۔
