Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Le Prophète (ﷺ) était avec l'une des Mères des Croyants (ses épouses) et une autre (épouse) envoya un plat contenant de la nourriture. La première épouse frappa la main du Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) et le plat tomba et se brisa. Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) ramassa les deux morceaux et les assembla, puis il commença à ramasser la nourriture et à la remettre dans le plat. Il dit : “Votre mère était jalouse. Mangez.” Alors ils mangèrent, et celle qui avait cassé le plat apporta celui qui était chez elle et donna le plat intact au Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), qui laissa le plat cassé dans la maison de celle qui l'avait brisé

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَأَرْسَلَتْ أُخْرَى بِقَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا طَعَامٌ فَضَرَبَتْ يَدَ الرَّسُولِ فَسَقَطَتِ الْقَصْعَةُ فَانْكَسَرَتْ فَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْكِسْرَتَيْنِ فَضَمَّ إِحْدَاهُمَا إِلَى الأُخْرَى فَجَعَلَ يَجْمَعُ فِيهَا الطَّعَامَ وَيَقُولُ " غَارَتْ أُمُّكُمْ كُلُوا " . فَأَكَلُوا حَتَّى جَاءَتْ بِقَصْعَتِهَا الَّتِي فِي بَيْتِهَا فَدَفَعَ الْقَصْعَةَ الصَّحِيحَةَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَتَرَكَ الْمَكْسُورَةَ فِي بَيْتِ الَّتِي كَسَرَتْهَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:“The Prophet (ﷺ) was with one of the Mothers of the Believers (his wives) and another (wife) sent a bowl containing food. She (the first wife) struck the hand of the Messenger of (ﷺ) and the bowl fell and broke. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took the two pieces and put them back together, then he started gathering up the food and putting it in (the bowl). He said: 'Your mother was jealous. Eat.' So they ate, and she (the wife who broke the bowl) brought the bowl that was in her house and gave the intact bowl to the Messenger (ﷺ), who left the broken bowl in the house of the one who broke it.”

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم امہات المؤمنین رضی اللہ عنہن میں سے ایک کے پاس تھے، آپ کی کسی دوسری بیوی نے ایک کھانے کا پیالہ بھیجا، پہلی بیوی نے ( غصہ سے کھانا لانے والے ) کے ہاتھ پر مارا، اور پیالہ گر کر ٹوٹ گیا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دونوں ٹکڑوں کو اٹھا کر ایک کو دوسرے سے جوڑا اور اس میں کھانا اکٹھا کرنے لگے اور فرماتے جاتے تھے: تمہاری ماں کو غیرت آ گئی ہے ( کہ میرے گھر اس نے کھانا کیوں بھیجا ) ، تم کھانا کھاؤ، لوگوں نے کھایا، پھر جن کے گھر میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تھے اپنا پیالہ لائیں، تو آپ نے یہ صحیح سالم پیالہ قاصد کو عنایت کر دیا، اور ٹوٹا ہوا پیالہ اس بیوی کے گھر میں رکھ چھوڑا جس نے اسے توڑا تھا۔
