كتاب البيوع
Rapporté par Mu'adh bin 'Abdullah bin Khubaib, de son père, que son oncle paternel a dit : "Nous étions assis dans une assemblée, et le Prophète (ﷺ) est arrivé avec des traces d'eau sur la tête. L'un de nous lui a dit : 'On voit que tu es de bonne humeur aujourd'hui.' Il a dit : 'Oui, louange à Allah.' Puis il a parlé aux gens de la richesse. Il a dit : 'Il n'y a rien de mal à être riche pour celui qui a la piété, mais une bonne santé pour celui qui a la piété est meilleure que la richesse, et être de bonne humeur est une bénédiction

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ أَثَرُ مَاءٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ بَعْضُنَا نَرَاكَ الْيَوْمَ طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ . فَقَالَ " أَجَلْ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ " . ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ الْقَوْمُ فِي ذِكْرِ الْغِنَى فَقَالَ " لاَ بَأْسَ بِالْغِنَى لِمَنِ اتَّقَى وَالصِّحَّةُ لِمَنِ اتَّقَى خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْغِنَى وَطِيبُ النَّفْسِ مِنَ النِّعَمِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Mu'adh bin 'Abdullah bin Khubaib, from his father, that his paternal uncle said:"We were sitting in a gathering, and the Prophet (ﷺ) came with traces of water on his head. One of us said to him: 'We see that you are of good cheer today.' He said: 'Yes, praise is to Allah.' Then he spoke to the people about being rich. He said: 'There is nothing wrong with being rich for one who has piety, but good health for one who has piety is better than riches, and being of good cheer is a blessing
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن خبیب کے چچا سے روایت ہے ہم ایک مجلس میں تھے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی وہاں اچانک تشریف لے آئے، آپ کے سر مبارک پر پانی کا اثر تھا، ہم میں سے ایک آدمی نے آپ سے عرض کیا: آپ کو ہم آج بہت خوش دل پا رہے ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، بحمداللہ خوش ہوں ، پھر لوگوں نے مالداری کا ذکر چھیڑ دیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اہل تقویٰ کے لیے مالداری کوئی حرج کی بات نہیں، اور تندرستی متقی کے لیے مالداری سے بہتر ہے، اور خوش دلی بھی ایک نعمت ہے ۱؎۔
