Rapporté par Aïcha : Trois traditions ont été établies à cause de Barirah : elle a eu le choix (de rester mariée ou non) lorsqu'elle a été affranchie, alors que son mari était esclave ; on lui donnait de la charité et elle l'offrait comme cadeau au Prophète (ﷺ), qui disait : "C'est une aumône pour elle et un cadeau pour nous" ; et il a dit : "Le 'Wala' revient à celui qui affranchit l'esclave

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَضَى فِي بَرِيرَةَ ثَلاَثُ سُنَنٍ خُيِّرَتْ حِينَ أُعْتِقَتْ وَكَانَ زَوْجُهَا مَمْلُوكًا وَكَانُوا يَتَصَدَّقُونَ عَلَيْهَا فَتُهْدِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَيَقُولُ " هُوَ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَهُوَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ " . وَقَالَ " الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Aishah said:'Three Sunan were established because of Barirah: She was given the choice (of whether to remain married) when she was freed, and her husband was a slave; they used to give her charity and she used to give it as a gift to the Prophet (ﷺ), and he would say: 'It is charity for her and a gift for us,' and he said, the 'Wala' is for the one who set the slave free
Traduction en ourdou
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ بریرہ میں تین سنتیں سامنے آئیں ایک تو یہ کہ جب وہ آزاد ہوئیں تو انہیں اختیار دیا گیا، اور ان کے شوہر غلام تھے، دوسرے یہ کہ لوگ بریرہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو صدقہ دیا کرتے اور وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ہدیہ کر دیتیں، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے: وہ اس کے لیے صدقہ ہے، اور ہمارے لیے ہدیہ ہے ، تیسرے یہ کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں کے سلسلہ میں فرمایا: حق ولاء ( غلام یا لونڈی کی میراث ) اس کا ہے جو آزاد کرے ۱؎۔
