Rapporté par 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud : Par Allah, pour ceux qui veulent invoquer la malédiction d’Allah sur celui qui a tort, la sourate la plus courte concernant les femmes a été révélée après les versets qui parlent de la période d’attente de quatre mois et dix jours. [1] (65:40), [2] (2:)

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَمَنْ شَاءَ لاَعَنَّاهُ لأُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ الْقُصْرَى بَعْدَ أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that' Abdullah bin Mas'ud said:"By Allah, for those who would like to go through the process of praying for Allah's curse to be upon the one who is wrong, the shorter Surah concerning women[l] was revealed after (the Verses[2] which speak of the waiting period of) four months and ten (days)." [1] (65:40), [2] (2:)
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ کی قسم! جو کوئی چاہے ہم اس سے لعان کر لیں کہ چھوٹی سورۃ نساء ( سورۃ الطلاق ) اس آیت کے بعد اتری ہے جس میں چار ماہ دس دن کی عدت کا حکم ہے ۱؎۔
