كتاب الطهارة وسننها
Rapporté par ‘Ubaid bin ‘Umair : ‘Aïcha رضي الله عنها a entendu dire que ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr demandait à ses femmes de défaire leurs tresses quand elles se lavaient. Elle a dit : « C’est étrange que Ibn ‘Amr fasse cela ! Pourquoi ne leur dit-il pas de se raser la tête ? Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et moi nous lavions avec la même bassine, et je ne faisais rien de plus que de verser trois poignées d’eau sur ma tête. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ بَلَغَ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ، اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَأْمُرُ نِسَاءَهُ إِذَا اغْتَسَلْنَ أَنْ يَنْقُضْنَ رُءُوسَهُنَّ فَقَالَتْ يَا عَجَبًا لاِبْنِ عَمْرٍو هَذَا أَفَلاَ يَأْمُرُهُنَّ أَنَّ يَحْلِقْنَ رُءُوسَهُنَّ لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ فَلاَ أَزِيدُ عَلَى أَنْ أُفْرِغَ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثَ إِفْرَاغَاتٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that 'Ubaid bin 'Umair said:"Aishah heard that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr was telling his wives to undo their braids (when they bathed). She said: 'How odd that Ibn 'Amr would do that! Why does he not tell them to shave their heads? The Messenger of Allah and I used to bathe from a single vessel, and I never did more than pour three handfuls of water over my head

عبید بن عمیر کہتے ہیں کہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو یہ خبر پہنچی کہ عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما اپنی بیویوں کو غسل کے وقت چوٹی کھولنے کا حکم دیتے ہیں، تو فرمایا: عبداللہ بن عمرو پر تعجب ہے، وہ عورتوں کو سر منڈانے کا حکم کیوں نہیں دے دیتے، بیشک میں اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک ہی برتن سے غسل کیا کرتے تھے، میں اپنے سر پر تین چلو سے زیادہ پانی نہیں ڈالتی تھی۔
