حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، قَالَ تَمَارَوْا فِي الْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلاَثَ أَكُفٍّ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jubair bin Mut'im said:"(The Companions) disputed in the presence of the Messenger of Allah about having a bath to cleanse oneself from sexual impurity. The Messenger of Allah said: 'As for me, I pour three handfuls of water on my head

جبیر بن مطعم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس غسل جنابت کے بارے میں بحث و مباحثہ کیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں تو اپنے سر پہ تین چلو پانی ڈالتا ہوں ۔
