Rapporté par 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas : La nuit des djinns, le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit à Ibn Mas'ud : "As-tu de l'eau ?" Il a répondu : "Non, seulement un peu de nabidh dans une grande outre." Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : "De bonnes dattes et de l'eau pure." (c'est-à-dire qu'il n'y a pas de mal à ce mélange.) "Verse-le-moi." Il a dit : "Alors j'ai fait ses ablutions avec cela

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ لاِبْنِ مَسْعُودٍ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ " مَعَكَ مَاءٌ " . قَالَ لاَ إِلاَّ نَبِيذًا فِي سَطِيحَةٍ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " تَمْرَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَمَاءٌ طَهُورٌ صُبَّ عَلَىَّ " . قَالَ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ بِهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas that :On the night of the Jinn the Messenger of Allah said to Ibn Mas'ud: "Do you have water?" He said: "No, only some Nabidh in a large water skin." The Messenger of Allah said: "Good dates and pure water." (i.e. there is no harm from the mixing of the two.) Pour it for me." He said: "So I performed ablution with it
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے «لیلۃالجن» میں فرمایا: کیا تمہارے پاس پانی ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا: نہیں، چھاگل ( مشک ) میں نبیذ کے سوا کچھ نہیں ہے، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ پاک کھجور اور پاک پانی ہے، میرے اوپر ڈالو ، عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے انڈیلا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا ۱؎۔
