كتاب الطهارة وسننها
Rapporté par Jabir bin ‘Abdullah : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous a interdit d’uriner debout. (Da’if) J’ai entendu Muhammed bin Yazid, Abu ‘Abdullah, dire : "J’ai entendu Ahmad bin ‘Abdur-Rahman Al-Makhzumi dire : ‘Sufyan Ath-Thawri a dit à propos du hadith de ‘Aishah – ‘Je l’ai toujours vu uriner assis’ – qu’un homme en sait plus sur ce genre de choses qu’elle.’ Ahmad bin ‘Abdur-Rahman a dit : ‘C’était l’habitude des Arabes d’uriner debout. Ne vois-tu pas que dans le hadith de ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Hasanah, il a été dit : ‘Il s’assoit pour uriner comme une femme.’

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ أَنْ يَبُولَ قَائِمًا . سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ - فِي حَدِيثِ عَائِشَةَ أَنَا رَأَيْتُهُ يَبُولُ قَاعِدًا - قَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَعْلَمُ بِهَذَا مِنْهَا . قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَانَ مِنْ شَأْنِ الْعَرَبِ الْبَوْلُ قَائِمًا أَلاَ تَرَاهُ فِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ يَقُولُ قَعَدَ يَبُولُ كَمَا تَبُولُ الْمَرْأَةُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jabir bin 'Abdullah said:"The Messenger of Allah forbade us to urinate while standing." (Da'if) I heard Muhammed bin Yazid, Abu 'Abdullah, say: "I heard Ahmad bin 'Abdur-Rahman Al-Makhzumi say: 'Sufyan Ath-Thawri said concerning the Hadith of 'Aisha- 'I (always) saw him urinating whilst sitting down' - a man knows more about that (about such matters) than she.' Ahmad bin 'Abdur-Rahman said: 'It was the custom of the Arabs to urinate standing up. Do you not see that in the Hadith of 'Abdur-Rahman bin Hasanah it was said: 'He sits down to urinate as a woman does

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھڑے ہو کر پیشاب کرنے سے منع فرمایا ۱؎۔ ابوالحسن القطان کہتے ہیں: میں نے ابوعبداللہ محمد بن یزید ( یعنی: ابن ماجہ ) سے سنا وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ میں نے احمد بن عبدالرحمٰن مخزومی سے سنا، وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ سفیان ثوری نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی حدیث: «أنا رأيته يبول قاعدا» کے بارے میں کہا کہ: مرد اس بات کو ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے زیادہ جانتے ہیں، ( احمد بن عبدالرحمٰن مخزومی کی سفیان ثوری سے ملاقات نہیں ) ۔ احمد بن عبدالرحمٰن کہتے ہیں: عربوں کی عادت کھڑے ہو کر پیشاب کرنے کی تھی، کیا تم اسے عبدالرحمٰن بن حسنہ کی حدیث میں دیکھتے نہیں ہو؟ اس میں ہے: دیکھو! وہ عورتوں کی طرح بیٹھ کر پیشاب کرتے ہیں ۔
