كتاب الطهارة وسننها
Rapporté par Thawban : Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ a dit : "Tenez-vous à la droiture, même si vous ne pouvez pas accomplir toutes les bonnes actions. Sachez que la meilleure de vos actions est la prière, et que seul un croyant préserve ses ablutions

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اسْتَقِيمُوا وَلَنْ تُحْصُوا وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ خَيْرَ أَعْمَالِكُمُ الصَّلاَةُ وَلاَ يُحَافِظُ عَلَى الْوُضُوءِ إِلاَّ مُؤْمِنٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Thawban said:"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Adhere to righteousness even though you will not be able to do all acts of virtue. Know that the best of your deeds is Salat (prayer) and that no one maintains his ablution except a believer
Traduction en ourdou
ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: راہ استقامت پر قائم رہو ۱؎، تم ساری نیکیوں کا احاطہٰ نہیں کر سکو گے، اور تم جان لو کہ تمہارا بہترین عمل نماز ہے، اور وضو کی محافظت صرف مومن کرتا ہے ۔
