المقدمة (كتاب السنة)
Rapporté par Abdullah bin Mas'ud : Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), le véridique et digne de confiance, nous a dit : "La création de chacun d'entre vous se forme dans le ventre de sa mère pendant quarante jours, puis il devient une goutte de sang coagulé pour une période similaire, puis il devient un morceau de chair mâchée pour une période similaire. Ensuite, Allah envoie un ange qui reçoit l'ordre d'écrire quatre choses : ses actions, la durée de sa vie, sa subsistance et s'il sera malheureux (destiné à l'Enfer) ou heureux (destiné au Paradis)." Par Celui qui tient mon âme dans Sa main ! L'un d'entre vous peut agir comme les gens du Paradis jusqu'à ce qu'il ne reste plus qu'une distance d'un avant-bras entre lui et le Paradis, puis ce qui a été décrété l'emporte sur lui et il agit comme les gens de l'Enfer jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus qu'une distance d'un avant-bras entre lui et l'Enfer, puis ce qui a été décrété l'emporte sur lui et il agit comme les gens du Paradis jusqu'à ce qu'il y entre

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ قَالَ " يُجْمَعُ خَلْقُ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ عَلَقَةً مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ يَكُونُ مُضْغَةً مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ الْمَلَكَ فَيُؤْمَرُ بِأَرْبَعِ كَلِمَاتٍ فَيَقُولُ اكْتُبْ عَمَلَهُ وَأَجَلَهُ وَرِزْقَهُ وَشَقِيٌّ أَمْ سَعِيدٌ . فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إِلاَّ ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا وَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إِلاَّ ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah bin Mas'ud said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), the true and truly inspired one, told us that: 'The creation of one of you is put together in his mother's womb for forty days, then it becomes a clot for a similar length of time, then it becomes a chewed lump of flesh for a similar length of time. Then Allah sends the angel to him and commands him to write down four things. He says: "Write down his deeds, his life span, his provision, and whether he is doomed (destined for Hell) or blessed (destined for Paradise)." By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! One of you may do the deeds of the people of Paradise until there is no more than a forearm's length between him and it, then the decree overtakes him and he does the deeds of the people of Hell until there is no more than a forearm's length between him and it, then the decree overtakes him and he does the deeds of the people of Paradise until he enters therein
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جو صادق و مصدوق ( یعنی جو خود سچے ہیں اور سچے مانے گئے ہیں ) نے بیان کیا کہ پیدائش اس طرح ہے کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک کا نطفہ خلقت ماں کے پیٹ میں چالیس دن تک جمع رکھا جاتا ہے، پھر وہ چالیس دن تک جما ہوا خون رہتا ہے، پھر چالیس دن تک گوشت کا ٹکڑا ہوتا ہے، پھر اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے پاس چار باتوں کا حکم دے کر ایک فرشتہ بھیجتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس فرشتہ سے کہتا ہے: اس کا عمل، اس کی مدت عمر، اس کا رزق، اور اس کا بدبخت یا نیک بخت ہونا لکھو، قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے تم میں سے کوئی جنت والوں کا عمل کر رہا ہوتا ہے یہاں تک کہ اس کے اور جنت کے درمیان ایک ہاتھ کا فاصلہ رہ جاتا ہے کہ اس پر اس کا مقدر غالب آ جاتا ہے ( یعنی لکھی ہوئی تقدیر غالب آ جاتی ہے ) ، اور وہ جہنم والوں کا عمل کر بیٹھتا ہے، اور اس میں داخل ہو جاتا ہے، اور تم میں سے کوئی جہنم والوں کا عمل کر رہا ہوتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ اس کے اور جہنم کے درمیان ایک ہاتھ کا فاصلہ رہ جاتا ہے، کہ اس پر لکھی ہوئی تقدیر غالب آ جاتی ہے، اور وہ جنت والوں کا عمل کرنے لگتا ہے، اور جنت میں داخل ہو جاتا ہے ۱؎۔
