المقدمة (كتاب السنة)
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : "La foi comporte soixante ou soixante-dix branches, la plus petite est d’enlever un objet nuisible du chemin, et la plus grande est de dire : La ilaha illallah (nul n’a le droit d’être adoré en dehors d’Allah). Et la pudeur est une branche de la foi." Une autre chaîne rapporte des paroles similaires d’Abu Hurairah, du Prophète (ﷺ)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " الإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسِتُّونَ أَوْ سَبْعُونَ بَابًا أَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ وَأَرْفَعُهَا قَوْلُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ " . حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَحْوَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Faith has sixty-some or seventy parts, the least of which is to remove a harmful thing from the road and the greatest of which is to say La ilaha illalah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah). And modesty is a branch of faith.'" Another chain from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (ﷺ) with similar wording
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایمان کے ساٹھ یا ستر سے زائد شعبے ( شاخیں ) ہیں، ان میں سے ادنی ( سب سے چھوٹا ) شعبہ ۱؎ تکلیف دہ چیز کو راستے سے ہٹانا ہے، اور سب سے اعلیٰ اور بہتر شعبہ «لا إله إلا الله» اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں کہنا ہے، اور شرم و حیاء ایمان کی ایک شاخ ہے ۲؎۔
