المقدمة (كتاب السنة)
Rapporté par Abu Qatadah : Alors qu'il était sur ce minbar, j'ai entendu le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) dire : « Faites attention à ne pas rapporter trop de hadiths de moi. Celui qui m'attribue quelque chose, qu'il dise la vérité fidèlement. Celui qui m'attribue des paroles que je n'ai pas dites, qu'il prenne sa place en Enfer. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ " إِيَّاكُمْ وَكَثْرَةَ الْحَدِيثِ عَنِّي فَمَنْ قَالَ عَلَىَّ فَلْيَقُلْ حَقًّا أَوْ صِدْقًا وَمَنْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَىَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Qatadah said:"While he was on this pulpit, I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: ' Beware of narrating too many Ahadith from me. Whoever attributes something to me, let him speak the truth faithfully. Whoever attributes to say something that I did not say, let him take his place in Hell
Traduction en ourdou
ابوقتادۃ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس منبر پر فرماتے سنا: تم مجھ سے زیادہ حدیثیں بیان کرنے سے بچو، اگر کوئی میرے حوالے سے کوئی بات کہے تو وہ صحیح صحیح اور سچ سچ کہے، اور جو شخص گھڑ کر میری طرف ایسی بات منسوب کرے جو میں نے نہیں کہی تو وہ جہنم میں اپنا ٹھکانہ بنا لے ۔
