المقدمة (كتاب السنة)
Rapporté par Kathir bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin 'Awf Al-Muzani : Mon père m’a raconté, d’après mon grand-père, que le Messager d’Allah a dit : "Celui qui fait revivre une de mes traditions (Sunnah) que les gens mettent ensuite en pratique recevra une récompense équivalente à celle de ceux qui la suivent, sans que cela ne diminue leur récompense le moins du monde. Et celui qui introduit une innovation (Bid‘ah) qui est suivie portera un fardeau de péchés équivalent à celui de ceux qui la suivent, sans que cela ne diminue leur fardeau le moins du monde

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " مَنْ أَحْيَا سُنَّةً مِنْ سُنَّتِي فَعَمِلَ بِهَا النَّاسُ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا لاَ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا وَمَنِ ابْتَدَعَ بِدْعَةً فَعُمِلَ بِهَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ أَوْزَارُ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا لاَ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَوْزَارِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا شَيْئًا " .
Traduction anglaise
Kathir bin 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin 'Awf Al-Muzani said:"My father told me narrating from my grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever revives a Sunnah of mine, which people then act upon, will have a reward equivalent to that of those who act upon it, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest. And whoever introduces an innovation (Bid'ah) that is acted upon, will have a burden of sins equivalent to that of those who act upon it, withot that detracting from the burden of those who act upon it in the slightest
Traduction en ourdou
عوف مزنی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے میری سنتوں میں سے کسی سنت کو زندہ کیا، اور لوگوں نے اس پر عمل کیا تو اسے اتنا ثواب ملے گا جتنا اس پر عمل کرنے والوں کو ملے گا، اور اس سے عمل کرنے والوں کے ثواب میں سے کچھ بھی کمی نہ ہو گی، اور جس کسی نے کوئی بدعت ایجاد کی اور لوگوں نے اس پر عمل کیا تو اسے بھی اتنا ہی گناہ ملے گا جتنا اس پر عمل کرنے والوں کو ہو گا، اور اس پر عمل کرنے والوں کے گناہوں میں سے کچھ بھی کمی نہ ہو گی ۱؎۔
