المقدمة (كتاب السنة)
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Quand Allah décrète une affaire au ciel, les anges battent de leurs ailes en soumission à Son ordre (avec un bruit) comme une chaîne frappant un rocher. Puis, quand la peur quitte leurs cœurs, ils disent : “Qu'a dit votre Seigneur ?” Ils répondent : “La vérité. Et Il est Le Très-Haut, Le Très-Grand.” » Il a dit : « Ensuite, les espions (parmi les djinns) écoutent cela, les uns au-dessus des autres, alors (l'un d'eux) entend les paroles et les transmet à celui qui est en dessous de lui. Le Shihab (étoile filante) peut le frapper avant qu'il ne transmette à celui d'en dessous, ou il peut ne pas être frappé avant d'avoir transmis. Et il ajoute cent mensonges à cela, et seule la parole entendue du ciel est vraie. »

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ أَمْرًا فِي السَّمَاءِ ضَرَبَتِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا خِضْعَانًا لِقَوْلِهِ كَأَنَّهُ سِلْسِلَةٌ عَلَى صَفْوَانٍ فَإِذَا فُزِّعَ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ قَالُوا مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوا الْحَقَّ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ قَالَ فَيَسْمَعُهَا مُسْتَرِقُو السَّمْعِ بَعْضُهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ فَيَسْمَعُ الْكَلِمَةَ فَيُلْقِيهَا إِلَى مَنْ تَحْتَهُ فَرُبَّمَا أَدْرَكَهُ الشِّهَابُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُلْقِيَهَا إِلَى الَّذِي تَحْتَهُ فَيُلْقِيهَا عَلَى لِسَانِ الْكَاهِنِ أَوِ السَّاحِرِ فَرُبَّمَا لَمْ يُدْرَكْ حَتَّى يُلْقِيَهَا فَيَكْذِبُ مَعَهَا مِائَةَ كَذْبَةٍ فَتَصْدُقُ تِلْكَ الْكَلِمَةُ الَّتِي سُمِعَتْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:The Prophet said: "When Allah decrees a matter in heaven, the angels beat their wings in submission to his decree (with a sound) like a chain beating a rock. Then "When fear is banished from their hearts, they say: 'What is it that your Lord has said?' They say: 'The truth. And He is The Most High, The Most Great." He said: 'Then the eavesdroppers (from among the jinn) listen out for that, one above the other, so (one of them) hears the words and passes it on to the one beneath him. The Shihab (shooting star) may strike him before he can pass it on to the one beneath him and the latter can pass it on to the soothsayer or sorcerer, or it may not strike him until he has passed it on. And he ads one hundred lies to it, and only that word which was overheard from the heavens is true

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب اللہ تعالیٰ آسمان میں کوئی فیصلہ صادر فرماتا ہے تو فرشتے اس کے فرمان کی تابعداری میں بطور عاجزی اپنے بازو بچھا دیتے ہیں، جس کی آواز کی کیفیت چکنے پتھر پر زنجیر مارنے کی سی ہوتی ہے، پس جب ان کے دلوں سے خوف دور کر دیا جاتا ہے تو وہ باہم ایک دوسرے سے کہتے ہیں: تمہارے رب نے کیا فرمایا؟ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں: اس نے حق فرمایا، اور وہ بلند ذات والا اور بڑائی والا ہے ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چوری سے باتیں سننے والے ( شیاطین ) جو اوپر تلے رہتے ہیں اس کو سنتے ہیں، اوپر والا کوئی ایک بات سن لیتا ہے تو وہ اپنے نیچے والے کو پہنچا دیتا ہے، بسا اوقات اس کو شعلہ اس سے پہلے ہی پا لیتا ہے کہ وہ اپنے نیچے والے تک پہنچائے، اور وہ کاہن ( نجومی ) یا ساحر ( جادوگر ) کی زبان پر ڈال دے، اور بسا اوقات وہ شعلہ اس تک نہیں پہنچتا یہاں تک کہ وہ نیچے والے تک پہنچا دیتا ہے، پھر وہ اس میں سو جھوٹ ملاتا ہے تو وہی ایک بات سچ ہوتی ہے جو آسمان سے سنی گئی تھی ۱؎۔
