حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، وَخَالِي، يَعْلَى وَوَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، يَقُولُ إِنِّي لأَوَّلُ الْعَرَبِ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ .

It was narrated that Qais said:"I heard Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas say: 'I am the first of the Arabs to shoot an arrow in the cause of Allah

قیس بن ابی حازم کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا: میں پہلا عربی شخص ہوں جس نے اللہ کی راہ میں تیر چلایا۔
