Rapporté par `Urwa : `Aisha a dit : « Quand le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) est décédé, ses épouses ont voulu envoyer `Uthman voir Abu Bakr pour lui demander leur part d'héritage. » Puis `Aisha leur a dit : « Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) n’a-t-il pas dit : ‘Nos biens (à nous, les Prophètes) ne sont pas hérités, et tout ce que nous laissons doit être donné en aumône ?’ »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها أَنَّ أَزْوَاجَ، النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حِينَ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَرَدْنَ أَنْ يَبْعَثْنَ عُثْمَانَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَسْأَلْنَهُ مِيرَاثَهُنَّ. فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَلَيْسَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Urwa:`Aisha said, "When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died, his wives intended to send `Uthman to Abu Bakr asking him for their share of the inheritance." Then `Aisha said to them, "Didn't Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say, 'Our (Apostles') property is not to be inherited, and whatever we leave is to be spent in charity?
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے عبداللہ بن مسلمہ قعبنی نے بیان کیا، ان سے امام مالک نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہوئی تو آپ کی بیویوں نے چاہا کہ عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کو ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بھیجیں، اپنی میراث طلب کرنے کے لیے۔ پھر عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے یاد دلایا۔ کیا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہیں فرمایا تھا کہ ہماری وراثت تقسیم نہیں ہوتی، ہم جو کچھ چھوڑ جائیں وہ سب صدقہ ہے؟
