Rapporté par 'Aisha : Le jour d'Al-Khandaq (la bataille du Fossé), la veine du bras de Sa'd bin Mu'adh [??] a été blessée et le Prophète (ﷺ) a installé une tente dans la mosquée pour s'occuper de lui. Il y avait une autre tente pour Banu Ghaffar dans la mosquée et le sang a commencé à couler de la tente de Sa'd vers celle de Bani Ghaffar. Ils ont crié : « Ô occupants de la tente ! Qu'est-ce qui vient de chez vous vers nous ? » Ils ont découvert que la blessure de Sa'd saignait abondamment et Sa'd est mort dans sa tente

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ أُصِيبَ سَعْدٌ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ فِي الأَكْحَلِ، فَضَرَبَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَيْمَةً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِيَعُودَهُ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ، فَلَمْ يَرُعْهُمْ ـ وَفِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَيْمَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي غِفَارٍ ـ إِلاَّ الدَّمُ يَسِيلُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَقَالُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْخَيْمَةِ، مَا هَذَا الَّذِي يَأْتِينَا مِنْ قِبَلِكُمْ فَإِذَا سَعْدٌ يَغْذُو جُرْحُهُ دَمًا، فَمَاتَ فِيهَا.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:On the day of Al-Khandaq (battle of the Trench) the medial arm vein of Sa`d bin Mu`ad [??] was injured and the Prophet (ﷺ) pitched a tent in the mosque to look after him. There was another tent for Banu Ghaffar in the mosque and the blood started flowing from Sa`d's tent to the tent of Bani Ghaffar. They shouted, "O occupants of the tent! What is coming from you to us?" They found that Sa`d's wound was bleeding profusely and Sa`d died in his tent

ہم سے زکریا بن یحییٰ نے بیان کیا کہ کہا ہم سے عبداللہ بن نمیر نے کہ کہا ہم سے ہشام بن عروہ نے اپنے باپ عروہ بن زبیر کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے آپ نے فرمایا کہ غزوہ خندق میں سعد ( رضی اللہ عنہ ) کے بازو کی ایک رگ ( اکحل ) میں زخم آیا تھا۔ ان کے لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مسجد میں ایک خیمہ نصب کرا دیا تاکہ آپ قریب رہ کر ان کی دیکھ بھال کیا کریں۔ مسجد ہی میں بنی غفار کے لوگوں کا بھی ایک خیمہ تھا۔ سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کے زخم کا خون ( جو رگ سے بکثرت نکل رہا تھا ) بہہ کر جب ان کے خیمہ تک پہنچا تو وہ ڈر گئے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اے خیمہ والو! تمہاری طرف سے یہ کیسا خون ہمارے خیمہ تک آ رہا ہے۔ پھر انہیں معلوم ہوا کہ یہ خون سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کے زخم سے بہہ رہا ہے۔ سعد رضی اللہ عنہ کا اسی زخم کی وجہ سے انتقال ہو گیا۔
