Hadith 3814 — Livre 63: Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar)
كتاب مناقب الأنصار
Rapporté par Abu Burda : Quand je suis arrivé à Médine, j’ai rencontré ‘Abdullah bin Salam. Il m’a dit : « Viens chez moi, je t’offrirai du sawiq (c’est-à-dire de l’orge moulue) et des dattes, et je te ferai entrer dans une maison bénie où le Prophète (ﷺ) est entré. » Puis il a ajouté : « Tu es dans un pays où l’usure (riba) est courante ; donc si quelqu’un te doit quelque chose et t’envoie un cadeau, que ce soit de la paille coupée, de l’orge ou du fourrage, ne l’accepte pas, car c’est de l’usure. »

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَتَيْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَلَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلاَمٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ فَقَالَ أَلاَ تَجِيءُ فَأُطْعِمَكَ سَوِيقًا وَتَمْرًا، وَتَدْخُلَ فِي بَيْتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّكَ بِأَرْضٍ الرِّبَا بِهَا فَاشٍ، إِذَا كَانَ لَكَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ حَقٌّ فَأَهْدَى إِلَيْكَ حِمْلَ تِبْنٍ، أَوْ حِمْلَ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ حِمْلَ قَتٍّ، فَلاَ تَأْخُذْهُ، فَإِنَّهُ رِبًا. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ النَّضْرُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَوَهْبٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Abu Burda:When I came to Medina. I met `Abdullah bin Salam. He said, "Will you come to me so that I may serve you with Sawiq (i.e. powdered barley) and dates, and let you enter a (blessed) house that in which the Prophet (ﷺ) entered?" Then he added, "You are In a country where the practice of Riba (i.e. usury) is prevalent; so if somebody owes you something and he sends you a present of a load of chopped straw or a load of barley or a load of provender then do not take it, as it is Riba
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے، ان سے سعید بن ابی بردہ نے اور ان سے ان کے والد نے کہ میں مدینہ منورہ حاضر ہوا تو میں نے عبداللہ بن سلام رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملاقات کی، انہوں نے کہا، آؤ تمہیں میں ستو اور کھجور کھلاؤں گا اور تم ایک ( باعظمت ) مکان میں داخل ہو گے ( کہ رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھی اس میں تشریف لے گئے تھے ) پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تمہارا قیام ایک ایسے ملک میں ہے جہاں سودی معاملات بہت عام ہیں اگر تمہارا کسی شخص پر کوئی حق ہو اور پھر وہ تمہیں ایک تنکے یا جَو کے ایک دانے یا ایک گھاس کے برابر بھی ہدیہ دے تو اسے قبول نہ کرنا کیونکہ وہ بھی سود ہے۔ نضر، ابوداؤد اور وہب نے ( اپنی روایتوں میں ) «البيت.» ( گھر ) کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔
