Hadith 3792 — Livre 63: Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar)
كتاب مناقب الأنصار
Rapporté par Usaid bin Hudair : Un homme parmi les Ansar a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Vas-tu me nommer comme tu as nommé untel ? » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Après moi, vous verrez d’autres personnes recevoir la préférence sur vous ; alors soyez patients jusqu’à ce que vous me retrouviez au Bassin (c’est-à-dire le Bassin d’Al-Kawthar, au Jour de la Résurrection). »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ حُضَيْرٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَلاَ تَسْتَعْمِلُنِي كَمَا اسْتَعْمَلْتَ فُلاَنًا قَالَ " سَتَلْقَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي عَلَى الْحَوْضِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Usaid bin Hudair:A man from the Ansar said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Will you appoint me as you have appointed so-and-so?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "After me you will see others given preference to you; so be patient till you meet me at the Tank (i.e. Lake of Kauthar). (on the Day of Resurrection)

ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے غندر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے کہا کہ میں نے قتادہ سے سنا، انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے اسید بن حضیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ ایک انصاری صحابی نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! فلاں شخص کی طرح مجھے بھی آپ حاکم بنا دیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میرے بعد ( دنیاوی معاملات میں ) تم پر دوسروں کو ترجیح دی جائے گی اس لیے صبر سے کام لینا، یہاں تک کہ مجھ سے حوض پر آ ملو۔“
