Rapporté par Jabir : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Donnez-vous mon prénom, mais ne prenez pas ma Kuniya. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي، وَلاَ تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي "
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Name yourselves after me, but do not call yourselves by my Kuniya
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہیں منصور نے، انہیں سالم بن ابی الجعد نے اور انہیں جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”میرے نام پر نام رکھا کرو لیکن میری کنیت نہ رکھا کرو۔“
