Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : `Umar a donné un cheval pour qu'il soit utilisé dans la voie d'Allah, mais plus tard, il l'a retrouvé en train d'être vendu. Il a donc voulu l'acheter et a demandé au Messager d'Allah (ﷺ), qui a dit : « Ne l'achète pas et ne reprends pas ton don de charité. »

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، حَمَلَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، فَوَجَدَهُ يُبَاعُ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَهُ، فَسَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " لاَ تَبْتَعْهُ، وَلاَ تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:`Umar gave a horse to be used in Allah's Cause, but later on he found it being sold. So, he intended to buy it and asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who said, "Don't buy it and don't take back your gift of charity

ہم سے اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے اللہ کے راستے میں اپنا ایک گھوڑا سواری کے لیے دے دیا تھا۔ پھر انہوں نے دیکھا کہ وہی گھوڑا بک ( فروخت ہو ) رہا ہے۔ اپنے گھوڑے کو انہوں نے خریدنا چاہا اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم اسے نہ خریدو۔ اور اس طرح اپنے صدقہ کو واپس نہ لو۔
