Rapporté par `Ikrima : Ibn `Abbas lui a dit, ainsi qu'à `Ali bin `Abdullah, d'aller voir Abu Sa`id et d'écouter certains de ses récits. Ils y sont donc allés et ont vu Abu Sa`id et son frère en train d’irriguer leur jardin. Quand il les a vus, il est venu vers eux, s’est assis en repliant ses jambes sous son vêtement et a dit : « Pendant la construction de la mosquée du Prophète, nous portions les briques une par une, alors que `Ammar en portait deux à la fois. Le Prophète (ﷺ) est passé près de `Ammar, a enlevé la poussière sur sa tête et a dit : “Qu’Allah fasse miséricorde à `Ammar. Il sera tué par un groupe rebelle et agressif. `Ammar les invitera à obéir à Allah et eux l’inviteront au feu (de l’Enfer).” »

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَهُ وَلِعَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ائْتِيَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ فَاسْمَعَا مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ. فَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَهُوَ وَأَخُوهُ فِي حَائِطٍ لَهُمَا يَسْقِيَانِهِ، فَلَمَّا رَآنَا جَاءَ فَاحْتَبَى وَجَلَسَ فَقَالَ كُنَّا نَنْقُلُ لَبِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ لَبِنَةً لَبِنَةً، وَكَانَ عَمَّارٌ يَنْقُلُ لَبِنَتَيْنِ لَبِنَتَيْنِ، فَمَرَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمَسَحَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ الْغُبَارَ وَقَالَ " وَيْحَ عَمَّارٍ، تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ، عَمَّارٌ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَيَدْعُونَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Ikrima:that Ibn `Abbas told him and `Ali bin `Abdullah to go to Abu Sa`id and listen to some of his narrations; So they both went (and saw) Abu Sa`id and his brother irrigating a garden belonging to them. When he saw them, he came up to them and sat down with his legs drawn up and wrapped in his garment and said, "(During the construction of the mosque of the Prophet) we carried the adobe of the mosque, one brick at a time while `Ammar used to carry two at a time. The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by `Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, "May Allah be merciful to `Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. `Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے ابراہیم بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم کو عبدالوہاب ثقفی نے خبر دی ‘ کہا ہم سے خالد نے بیان کیا عکرمہ سے کہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے ان سے اور ( اپنے صاحبزادے ) علی بن عبداللہ سے فرمایا تم دونوں ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کی خدمت میں جاؤ اور ان سے احادیث نبوی سنو۔ چنانچہ ہم حاضر ہوئے ‘ اس وقت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے ( رضاعی ) بھائی کے ساتھ باغ میں تھے اور باغ کو پانی دے رہے تھے ‘ جب آپ نے ہمیں دیکھا تو ( ہمارے پاس ) تشریف لائے اور ( چادر اوڑھ کر ) گوٹ مار کر بیٹھ گئے ‘ اس کے بعد بیان فرمایا ہم مسجد نبوی کی اینٹیں ( ہجرت نبوی کے بعد تعمیر مسجد کیلئے ) ایک ایک کر کے ڈھو رہے تھے لیکن عمار رضی اللہ عنہ دو دو اینٹیں لا رہے تھے ‘ اتنے میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ادھر سے گزرے اور ان کے سر سے غبار کو صاف کیا پھر فرمایا افسوس! عمار کو ایک باغی جماعت مارے گی ‘ یہ تو انہیں اللہ کی ( اطاعت کی ) طرف دعوت دے رہا ہو گا لیکن وہ اسے جہنم کی طرف بلا رہے ہوں گے۔
