Rapporté par `Aisha : Lorsque le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est revenu le jour de la bataille du Fossé (Al-Khandaq), il a posé ses armes et a pris un bain. Ensuite, Gabriel, dont la tête était couverte de poussière, est venu lui dire : « Tu as posé tes armes ! Par Allah, je n’ai pas encore posé les miennes. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Où devons-nous aller maintenant ? » Gabriel a répondu : « Par ici, » en montrant la direction de la tribu des Bani Quraiza. Alors le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est parti vers eux

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمَّا رَجَعَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَوَضَعَ السِّلاَحَ وَاغْتَسَلَ، فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ وَقَدْ عَصَبَ رَأْسَهُ الْغُبَارُ فَقَالَ وَضَعْتَ السِّلاَحَ، فَوَاللَّهِ مَا وَضَعْتُهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَأَيْنَ ". قَالَ هَا هُنَا. وَأَوْمَأَ إِلَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ. قَالَتْ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Traduction anglaise
Narrated `Aisha:When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) returned on the day (of the battle) of Al-Khandaq (i.e. Trench), he put down his arms and took a bath. Then Gabriel whose head was covered with dust, came to him saying, "You have put down your arms! By Allah, I have not put down my arms yet." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Where (to go now)?" Gabriel said, "This way," pointing towards the tribe of Bani Quraiza. So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went out towards them

ہم سے محمد بن سلام نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم کو عبدہ نے خبر دی ہشام بن عروہ سے ‘ انہیں ان کے والد نے اور انہیں عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب جنگ خندق سے ( فارغ ہو کر ) واپس آئے اور ہتھیار رکھ کر غسل کرنا چاہا تو جبرائیل علیہ السلام آئے ‘ ان کا سر غبار سے اٹا ہوا تھا۔ جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے کہا آپ نے ہتھیار اتار دیئے ‘ اللہ کی قسم میں نے تو ابھی تک ہتھیار نہیں اتارے ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دریافت فرمایا تو پھر اب کہاں کا ارادہ ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا ادھر اور بنو قریظہ کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بنو قریظہ کے خلاف لشکر کشی کی۔
