Hadith 2632 — Livre 51: Gifts
كتاب الهبة
Rapporté par Jabir : Certains hommes avaient des terres en surplus et disaient qu’ils les donneraient à d’autres pour les cultiver à condition d’en recevoir un tiers, un quart ou la moitié de la récolte. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Celui qui a une terre doit la cultiver lui-même, la donner à son frère ou la laisser en friche. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كَانَتْ لِرِجَالٍ مِنَّا فُضُولُ أَرَضِينَ فَقَالُوا نُؤَاجِرُهَا بِالثُّلُثِ وَالرُّبُعِ وَالنِّصْفِ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ لِيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُمْسِكْ أَرْضَهُ ".
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Jabir:Some men had superfluous land and they said that they would give it to others to cultivate on the condition that they would get one-third or one-fourth or one half of its yield. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever has land should cultivate it himself or give it to his brother or keep it uncultivated
Traduction en ourdou
ہم سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اوزاعی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عطاء نے بیان کیا، ان سے جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہم میں سے بہت سے اصحاب کے پاس فالتو زمین بھی تھی، انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ تہائی یا چوتھائی یا نصف کی بٹائی پر ہم کیوں نہ اسے دے دیا کریں۔ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جس کے پاس زمین ہو تو اسے خود بونی چاہئے یا پھر کسی اپنے بھائی کو ہدیہ کر دینی چاہئے اور اگر ایسا نہیں کرتا تو پھر زمین اپنے پاس رکھے رہے۔“
