Hadith 1625 — Livre 9: Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat)
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Ibrahim ibn Ata, client de Imran ibn Husayn, d’après son père : Ziyad, ou un autre gouverneur, a envoyé Imran ibn Husayn pour collecter la sadaqa (zakat). À son retour, il lui a demandé : « Où est la richesse ? » Il a répondu : « M’as-tu envoyé pour rapporter la richesse ? Nous l’avons collectée là où nous le faisions du temps du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et nous l’avons dépensée comme à l’époque du Messager d’Allah ﷺ. »

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي، أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، مَوْلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ زِيَادًا، أَوْ بَعْضَ الأُمَرَاءِ بَعَثَ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ قَالَ لِعِمْرَانَ أَيْنَ الْمَالُ قَالَ وَلِلْمَالِ أَرْسَلْتَنِي أَخَذْنَاهَا مِنْ حَيْثُ كُنَّا نَأْخُذُهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَوَضَعْنَاهَا حَيْثُ كُنَّا نَضَعُهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Traduction anglaise
Ibrahim ibn Ata, the client of Imran ibn Husayn, reported on the authority of his father:Ziyad, or some other governor, sent Imran ibn Husayn to collect sadaqah (i.e. zakat). When he returned, he asked Imran: Where is the property? He replied: Did you send me to bring the property? We collected it from where we used to collect in the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and we spent it where we used to spend during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)

عطا کہتے ہیں زیاد یا کسی اور امیر نے عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما کو زکاۃ کی وصولی کے لیے بھیجا، جب وہ لوٹ کر آئے تو اس نے عمران سے پوچھا: مال کہاں ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: کیا آپ نے مجھے مال لانے بھیجا تھا؟ ہم نے اسے لیا جس طرح ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد میں لیتے تھے، اور اس کو صرف کر دیا جہاں ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد میں صرف کرتے تھے ۱؎۔
