كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par ‘Abdallah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه : ‘Umar ibn Al Khattab a donné un cheval en aumône dans le sentier d’Allah. Plus tard, il l’a retrouvé en vente et a voulu l’acheter. Il a donc interrogé le Messager d’Allah ﷺ à ce sujet. Il a dit : « Ne l’achète pas, et ne reprends pas ce que tu as donné en zakat. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، - رضى الله عنه - حَمَلَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَوَجَدَهُ يُبَاعُ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَهُ فَسَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " لاَ تَبْتَعْهُ وَلاَ تَعُدْ فِي صَدَقَتِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated ‘Abdallah bin Umar :‘Umar bin Al Khattab gave a horse as alms in the way of Allah. He then found it being sold, and intended to buy it. So he asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about this. He said Do not buy it, and do not take back your sadaqah
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے اللہ کی راہ میں ایک گھوڑا دیا، پھر اسے بکتا ہوا پایا تو خریدنا چاہا تو اور اس کے متعلق رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسے مت خریدو، اپنے صدقے کو مت لوٹاؤ ۔
