Hadith 1584 — Livre 9: Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat)
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنه : Lorsque le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a envoyé Mu’adh au Yémen, il lui a dit : « Tu vas rencontrer un peuple des gens du Livre. Invite-les à témoigner qu’il n’y a de divinité qu’Allah et que je suis le Messager d’Allah. S’ils acceptent cela, informe-les qu’Allah leur a prescrit cinq prières chaque jour et chaque nuit. S’ils acceptent, dis-leur qu’Allah a prescrit la zakat sur leurs biens, à redistribuer à leurs pauvres. S’ils acceptent, ne prends pas le meilleur de leurs biens. Prends garde à l’invocation de l’opprimé, car il n’y a pas de voile entre elle et Allah. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَيْفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ " إِنَّكَ تَأْتِي قَوْمًا أَهْلَ كِتَابٍ فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَى شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوكَ لِذَلِكَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوكَ لِذَلِكَ فَأَعْلِمْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَدَقَةً فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ تُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ وَتُرَدُّ فِي فُقَرَائِهِمْ فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوكَ لِذَلِكَ فَإِيَّاكَ وَكَرَائِمَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:said When the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) sent Mu’adh to Yemen, he said to him You are going to a people who are people of the book. So call them to bear witness that there is no diety but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah. If they obey you in this respect, tell them that Allah has prescribed five prayers on them every day and night. If they obey you in this regard tell them that Allah has prescribed sadaqah(zakat) on their property and returned it to their poor. If they obey you in this respect, do not take the best of their property. Beware of the curse of the oppressed, for there is no curtain between it and Allah
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کو یمن بھیجا اور فرمایا: تم اہل کتاب کی ایک جماعت کے پاس جا رہے ہو، ان کو اس بات کی طرف بلانا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں، اگر وہ یہ مان لیں تو ان کو بتانا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر ہر دن اور رات میں پانچ نمازیں فرض کی ہیں، اگر وہ یہ بھی مان لیں تو انہیں بتانا کہ اللہ نے ان پر ان کے مالوں میں زکاۃ فرض کی ہے جو ان کے مالداروں سے لے کر غریبوں کو دی جائے گی، پھر اگر وہ یہ بھی مان لیں تو تم ان کے عمدہ مالوں کو نہ لینا اور مظلوم کی بد دعا سے بچتے رہنا کہ اس کی دعا اور اللہ کے درمیان کوئی رکاوٹ نہیں ۔
