Rapporté par Zayd, le serviteur du Prophète : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Si quelqu’un dit : “Je demande pardon à Allah, il n’y a pas de divinité en dehors de Lui, le Vivant, l’Éternel, et je me repens à Lui”, il sera pardonné, même s’il a fui lors d’une bataille. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الشَّنِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بِلاَلَ بْنَ يَسَارِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُنِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّي أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ قَالَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ غُفِرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ فَرَّ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Narrated Zayd, the client of the Prophet: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone says: "I ask pardon of Allah than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the eternal, and I turn to Him in repentance," he will be pardoned, even if he has fled in time of battle
Traduction en ourdou
نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے غلام زید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: جس نے«أستغفر الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم وأتوب إليه» کہا تو اس کے گناہ معاف کر دئیے جائیں گے اگرچہ وہ میدان جنگ سے بھاگ گیا ہو ۱؎ ۔
