La tradition mentionnée ci-dessus a aussi été transmise par ‘Amr b. Murrah à travers une autre chaîne de rapporteurs avec le même sens. Cette version ajoute : « Et facilite-moi la bonne direction. » Le narrateur n’a pas dit : « ma bonne direction. » Abu Dawud a dit : Sufyan a entendu dix-huit traditions de ‘Amr b. Murrah

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مُرَّةَ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ " وَيَسِّرِ الْهُدَى إِلَىَّ " . وَلَمْ يَقُلْ " هُدَاىَ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَمِعَ سُفْيَانُ مِنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالُوا ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ حَدِيثًا .
Traduction anglaise
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by 'Amr b. Murrah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. This version adds:"And make right guidance easy for me." The narrator did not say: "my right guidance". Abu Dawud said: Sufyan heard eighteen traditions from 'Amr b. Murrah

سفیان ثوری کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عمرو بن مرہ سے اسی سند سے اسی مفہوم کی روایت سنی ہے، اس میں «يسر هداي إلي» کے بجائے«يسر الهدى إلي» ہے۔
