Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Aucun de vous ne doit dire dans son invocation : “Ô Allah, pardonne-moi si Tu veux, fais-moi miséricorde si Tu veux.” Soyez plutôt déterminés dans vos demandes, car personne ne peut forcer Allah. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي إِنْ شِئْتَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي إِنْ شِئْتَ لِيَعْزِمِ الْمَسْأَلَةَ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ مُكْرِهَ لَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying:"One of you should not say (in his supplication): O Allah, forgive me if You please, show mercy to me if You please.' Rather, be firm in your asking, for no one can force Him
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی اس طرح دعا نہ مانگے: اے اللہ! اگر تو چاہے تو مجھے بخش دے، اے اللہ! اگر تو چاہے تو مجھ پر رحم کر، بلکہ جزم کے ساتھ سوال کرے کیونکہ اللہ پر کوئی جبر کرنے والا نہیں ۔
